MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN OF FACULTY

May I take this opportunity to welcome you to SAUT and the Faculty of Engineering family. Please be ready to enjoy the learning environment and above all the network of Professional Engineers, Instructors and fellow students you will find eager to accompany you in your professional journey you are starting at SAUT. We all believe that you have the power to achieve anything you desire.

At the Faculty of Engineering our goal is to train you and to assist you in transforming yourself into a highly skilled and competent engineer, and at the same time impart entrepreneurship and soft skills to enable you to be innovative and self-reliant.

Our program demands active participation from students, however always remember that all staff and faculty will be ready and willing at all times to assist you to make progress in case of difficulty. I want to urge you to take advantage of the network resources and the Internet. As an Engineering student you will find the Internet and the Computer to be a critical tool for your advancement. I want to assure you that if you put your heart into your work/studies at SAUT, the sky is the limit.
