The Human Rights and Peace Centre (HURIPEC) at Makerere University in Uganda, Directorate of Research, Innovation and Community Engagement (DRICE) at SAUT in Tanzania and The Centre for Resolution of International Conflicts (CRIC) at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, hereby invite interested participants from academia, government, civil society and corporate sectors in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan, South Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia to submit papers and abstracts on or related to the subject of: Localising debates on cooking fuels amid energy transition and climate change dilemmas in East Africa.
